Have I Been Scanned?

Check your ALPR exposure and request your scan history

Transparency activists at HaveIBeenFlocked.com have obtained Flock's internal audit logs through public records requests — covering 243 million searches of 4.6 million license plates. You can search their public database below to see if your plate was queried, by which agency, and why. This tool also estimates your local camera exposure and helps you file your own FOIA request.

Used to generate your FOIA request letter. Only the last 4 characters are stored in the community registry.

About This Data

What are Flock cameras? Flock Safety operates the largest network of automated license plate readers in the U.S. Each camera photographs every passing vehicle and logs the plate, make, and color into a searchable database shared across law enforcement agencies.

Where does this data come from? Camera locations are contributed by volunteers to OpenStreetMap — the same community data used by DeFlock and FlockHopper. We sync directly from the OSM Overpass API and refresh monthly.

Is the map complete? No. Only cameras that volunteers have mapped appear here. Unmapped cameras, mobile readers, and patrol-car systems are not shown. Coverage varies by state.

This map is a transparency tool. Knowing where cameras are helps communities make informed decisions about surveillance and privacy.
